Prepping For Blogathon
I have notes piling up.
Although the temptation to just wing it is strong, the idea of having to post 48 times in the course of a single day is just a tad intimidating. And I’d like to keep you entertained through the day and not just waste posts telling you what color socks I have on. So, I’m making notes and lists and compiling images and so forth.
The topic, of course, is comics.
Which is why I’m blogging for the CBLDF.
And why I’m pointing once again at the links on the sidebar and asking you to kindly contribute to a good cause. It doesn’t have to be much, every dollar counts. You can contribute a flat amount or pledge based on the number of posts I make. And you don’t have to pay anything upfront or give out your credit card number to anybody. You just register at the Blogathon site (quick and painless) and make your pledge. After the blogathon itself, you’ll get a nice email with instructions on how to make your donation. Simple as that.
As an added incentive, for those who’ve read this far, anyone who sponsers me in the blogathon and then emails me to let me know, I’ll send you a signed copy of the next Kellerman short story.
So pledge already, so I can stop begging…..
edit: And now’s a wonderful time to discover that my new template doesn’t show my email address. For the above offer or for any other comment, I can be reached at kpatrickglover@yahoo.com

I found for myself that (a) having my material sorted and ready to review and (b) some topics to cover at the beginning and end (and perhaps as an intermezzo) served just fine to keep me from blogging about my socks. Unless they were comic book socks, or I thought the socks were blogworthy. But to each their own comfort zone.
Busy trying to catch up with all my unread TPBs …

Hi, came from the blogathon site. I just signed up to participate, with donations going to the CBLDF, when I saw that you were blogging as well. Since I was thinking about donating anyway, this is just a note to say I’m donating through your blog. I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Good luck!
