Okay, with the new series starting March 31st, the current issue of Radio Times is profiling the show and providing us with some interesting tidbits. Like the titles for all the episodes:
1: Smith and Jones
2: The Shakespeare Code
3: Gridlock
4: Daleks in Manhattan (1 of 2)
5: Evolution of the Daleks (2 of 2)
6: The Lazarus Experiment
7: 42
8: Human Nature (1 of 2)
9: The Family of Blood (2 of 2)
10: Blink
11: Utopia
12: The Sound of Drums (1 of 2)
13: Last of the Time Lords (2 of 2)
Some possible spoilery stuff below the break…
Here’s the hints we have about the season, so far.
The Doctor’s third meeting with the Face of Boa is supposed to happen early on. The face’s message (if the rumour is true) will be “You are not alone”.
Which ties in nicely with the second big rumour, the casting of the lead actor in Life On Mars as the Doctor’s arch-enemy, renegade Time Lord, The Master.
We also know that the two parter that begins with Human Nature is an adaptation of the New Adventure novel of the same name by Paul Cornell.
And we know Captain Jack will be back for the final couple of episodes, which has led to some speculation that Jack just might be a Time Lord.
Looks like we’ve got a fun season ahead of us….

From the way CJ was in Torchwood I don’t think he’s a Time Lord, plus excitement at hearing the Tardis, and the fact there is “Only one Dr who can help him”

If you haven’t already seen it Last saturday’s ‘Who’ was perfection. It wasn’t the ‘hero turns up and saves it all with a gizmo’ story- it was a proper time travelling story and VERY creepy. It fitted perfectly, plus, unlike many of the single episodes, didn’t feel rushed.

I’m actually several behind. With my wife in Russia, I’m letting them stack up so we can watch them together when she gets home.

The one I’m talking about is ‘Blink’. It all slides into place with a click. Watch it with the lights out. In fact watch it twice- like 6th Sense it makes sense the 2nd time through, and you can really appreciate the scripting.

I’m hoping that was just a bad comparison. The Sixth Sense was one of the most painfully obvious movies I have ever seen.

Ok, whatever sinks your boat.
You’ll guess how he’s doing bits of it (him being a time traveller etc) but the DVD bit will get you going ‘eh?’. It sall basically timey-wimey stuff (and that is an official Time Lord explanation- I think it got away from him)
